Angry Paid the money, but PRO won't install!!!

They took the money fast enough... why isn't my email address reconized so I can install PRO? I sent TWO emails with no response and have waited for about 15 hours with no response. I feel stupid for even signing up with such a mess-up service.

Have you tried enterring your email address recently (as in after Friday)? Our servers were a bit over-stressed on Thursday due to the large amount of people upgrading, but recoverred completely at the end of the day on Friday.

I paid on Sunday around 7 pm PST and it is now 11:25 am. It said that everything went through but asked me to wait an hour. Well that hour is up and then some, but still nothing. And NO repleys to my emails about this. I have paid for many things on line and have NEVER been ignored when it had to do with me paying for something. I am going to call my credit card in the next hour if nothing happens and send out a general advisory against this site since I happen to work with a program that tracks business that take advantage of military families.

You do realize that Sunday is a weekend and Monday (today) is a holiday? Perhaps the best thing to do would be to wait till the next working day, Tuesday (tomorrow).

You are enterring the email address that you used to purchase Pro into the "Pro Lookup" form at http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...pro_lookup.jsp ?

Still doesn't work and I just recieved a email saying" We don't send out that message" and asked if I was sure I signed up with Limewire. Well it was a direct like from the Limewire Search page You know that little blurb at the bottom of the page. So I don't know how that would put me out of the Limewire system, and it sent me to the same link that was sent to me by "sberlin". That was it... nothing else nothing saying they were looking into it or hey that is bad we will fix it nada, am I in some relm of horrible customer service usually reserved for people who shop at Walmart. What's going on!!!

What message did you receive when you purchased LimeWire Pro?

The only place that we sell LimeWire is from http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...ms/buypro.html , which can be found by going to limewire.com, clicking on "Get It Now", and then clicking on "Get Pro".

Does the form at the above link look familiar? If it isn't the form you used to purchase LimeWire, then you didn't buy it from us. Unfortunately, there are people out there who take our product and sell it for their own profit.

Yep thats the page and it went through, but I have nothing. I seems it would be a simple fact of seeing if I paid and then setting it up for me. Then I won't have to be a mad customer any more.

I just called my credit Card company a they tell there is a charge coming through tonight from "Limewire LLC" they tell me I can make a dispute. Andthink...all this is happening from horrible customer service I don't care much about the money its the principal of it, and yes slow does translate to horrible. I wanted to support a grovy site and now I just want to report it.

Default upgrade error

I recently logged onto Limewire and saw there was an upgrade. I decided to go ahead and buy the pro version instead of getting the free upgrade. Of course your servers were busy since you downloaded nearly 19 million copies of your free upgrade in the first week. (Congratulations!). I was able to download my Pro version the next day but could not install it. Basically when it got to the point in the intall where it wanted to remove the old version, it tried to access the A drive (floppy) and then the install failed. I also went into the Add/remove Programs control panel and tried to remove the old Limewire with the unistaller and it too tried to access the A drive and nothing else happened.

I have gone into regedit and looked at the uninstall file but see nothing which points to this behavior. I'll admit I only have a basic understanding of the files there so I need help.

How can I uninstall my old Limewire, Ver. 3.6.15 so that I can install the Pro version?

I have been enjoying using Limewire to find rare songs I have not heard for years.
