Reinstalling limewire pro!

I have bought limewire pro vrsion 5.6.15.. I am upgrading to limewire pro version 5.8.. When i go to install limewire 5.8. i get error 1714. I have gone into the registry and deleted everything tht had to do with limewire. I dont kno wht else to do besides whiping the damn computer out . I am runing windows 98se. Someone plz help .
