Unhappy Hmmm.. how to uninstall?

I'm having trouble with Limewire, so I thought to myself, clean install.

Fine.

Look in Add/Remove Programs... hmm... that's funny, should be here, BUT IT'S NOT!

There's no uninstall file either. So how do I remove it?

All help is much appreciated

Well, it's weird that there is no uninstall.
What you can do is just to simply delete the Folder LimeWire in your Program Files if there's no uninstall routine.

Hope it works.

Try running the installer again. Maybe it will give you the option to uninstall.

Unhappy

Thanks for the ideas.

I'd already looked at the setup file as to if there was uninstall there, but unfortunately there isn't.

I'm not keen on just deleting stuff, I've done it before and my registry is a mess with stuff that hasn't been uninstalled properly.
But I'll do it and try and clean the registry a bit.

Thanks guys

Smile

this is extrememly weird.

i was having trouble with uninstalling another program, "web savings from ebates", and i got an uninstall from their customer services and removed it, and then all of a sudden, limewire appears on my Add/Remove Programs list!

so the long and the short of it is, the problem has been resolved.

thanks again

I can not uninstall Limewire. It's in my add or remove programs, but it won't uninstall. Any suggestions? I'm having the same problem with Kazza.

Default Uninstall Program

Do you have a copy of that uninstall program? I am having the same issue, and would like to give that a try. Thanks.

What I meant was try running the setup (as if you were going to install LW again) and see if there's an option to uninstall the software somewhere along the process.
