Lime Will Not Install

I recently downloaded the latest version of Limewire 4.0.8. Each time I attempt to install, I receive the message that the previous (older) version cannot be removed (Error 1714) and to contact my technical support group(?). I also receive the message - Error 1603 - Fatal Error During Installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (MSI.CHM) or MSDN for more information. I have uninstalled the previous version and cleaned the registry with Registry First Aid and have also manually searched the registry for references to the previous version. All to no avail. Can anyone help?
