NVidia OpenGL driver I've tried for 4 hours to load this for my daughter. I always get NVidia OpenGL driver. I'm trying to set up LimeWire 4.4.1. Needs JAVA, so I went there. Loaded v 1.3.1 with no problems, but v 1.5 always hangs. Is that the version I need? HELP ............. |

If you installed LW 4.4.1 I should think it wouldn't ask you to install Java 1.3.x It's not designed to do that. Java 1.3 is inefficient for LW 4.4 Apparently the Sun Java site has had problems in recent days for downlding. I'd suggest you wither try again at a later time or install Java 1.4.2 instead from here: Java 1.4.2 (click on link) Java 1.5 would be better though. I'm not sure what you're refering to by nvidia. You can get updates for drivers from their site. And yes, video cards with out of date drivers are known for causing blue screens! (blue screen crashes.) |
