limewire cither closes down or comes up with large text

I have been useing lime wire for a while and think it is excellent but this last while when i try to log on it either shuts down or the page comes up with large text which can't be altered so the full page isn't shown which means I can't scroll the page down to search for what I want.
Please help as I miss it so.
