ok sorry for posting another problem with java. But heres whats happening. I install LimeWire, it gets to the Java installation and when there, it says ''you already have java installed... please uninstall it and reinstall'... then the limewire installation finishes and says 'limewire will not run until you install the latest version of java'... so i uninstall limewire and java, and everything related to java, and reinstall limewire.. same thing happens. so what should i do? Ive tried reinstalling each seperatly, ive uninstalled and reinstalled so many times, i just want to use limewire. so help? thanks

lol xcuse me. Try installing Java 1st! Then install LW. Get your Java here: Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

i did install java.. then installed limewire and that problem occured... so i uninstalled java and reinstalled limewire because limewire installs java along with itself.. but the same problem kept happening.

No LW will not install Java if the most up to date version of Java is already installed. Perhaps you should try this installer called 'Other': See Here about other version. Just unzip it & use it.

sorry to keep hastling you about this. i clicked on that link you provided and it didnt work, it just opend a 'page cannot be displayed'.. if you have any other ideas id appreciate it. thanks
