![]() I was running LimeWire 4.4 with Java 1.3 with no problems. I upgraded to Java 1.5 and installed LimeWire 4.6 but during the initial setup, after the "firewall preparation" step, it had a fatal internal error. The "Review" message started with: java.lang.Error: IP Helper Library GetIfTable function failed at java.net.NetworkInterface.getAll(Native Method) etc. I tried reverting to my earlier installation and got the same problem. I also tried several other combinations of Java and LimeWire versions, and went through the steps in "Fixing LimeWire", but it hasn't helped. Any ideas? P.S. I'm running Windows 2000, have an ADSL connection, no firewall. |
