4.8.1 and java

Hello,
First, excuse my english language, I'm a french user of LW.
I wanted to install 4.8.1 version, so I deleted all files of my previous 4.2.5. In Program Files and in Documents and settings/user. Then I installed 4.8.1, and on launching, it always answers "LimeWire was unable to load JRE". But I'm still having the latest JRE 1.5.0_02.
A reboot don't change anything.
A reinstallation of JRE, idem.
Is someone has the beginning of a solution...

I'm certain for LW 4.2.x you should have used the Add/Remove programs control panel to properly delete the program. You might need to repeat this if possible. You might also need to remove Java & re-install it.

Thank you "Lord of the rings". I used Add/Remove function, but I will repeat the operation...and desinstall/reinstall JRE..

It works!
I just desinstalled JRE et launch install of LW. It don't see any JRE and load and install Java itself.
