.avi Movies won't play I am trying to download {edited} with the AVI file extension, and when i try to play them in windows media player 10, it says: "The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.". What am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to merge the two together? With what? If you can help me that would be very much apreciated. |
www.divx.com Download the DivX codec and player from there. You should be able to play those files with them. Ivan In the dark we make a brighter light |
I tryed this, but it still gives me the same message. |
Well either try a back up player like vlc (free with built in codecs): http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) or/& try xtra codes such as either http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html or http://www.free-codecs.com/ |
Still does not work. if it helps you any, i am using windowsXP SP2, and the names of the files that i am trying to open are: "Meet the Fockers [2004] (1of2) (divx) (WWW.URI-MOVIES.TK).avi", and "Meet the Fockers [2004] (2of2) (divx) (WWW.URI-MOVIES.TK).avi". |
