I'm using Blueyonder, and a belkin 4port router, the router has a built in firewall and the firewall is set to allow Limewire access to the internet. And yes it uses a NAT firewall.

You can check to make sure you forwarded the port correctly here. Just fllow the instructions for your router.

Nope didn't work. It use to work but then it just suddenly stopped. It stops working on the "Getting menus" at the startup screen. It then exits it and comes up with this error:

Dunno if this helps anymore? But my firewall should allow it to access the internet. I've even turned my firewall off and tried it that way and i still get the same error.

No need to send any more reports. This is a forum not LW support. If it was we'd all go on strike until we were paid! lol hahaha

I actually forgot to give u the link: Fixes for Limewire & try out the different Java versions. It'll mean you'll need to use the Add/Remove Prog control panel to remove the previous version of Java.
