Hi Squirtukuk You can check to make sure you forwarded the port correctly here. Just fllow the instructions for your router. http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm You can follow the instructions for configuring your firewalls here. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml It has most of the basic ones. Best of luck |

Nope didn't work. It use to work but then it just suddenly stopped. It stops working on the "Getting menus" at the startup screen. It then exits it and comes up with this error: If i click on review i get this window: and the text in it is: LimeWire version 4.8.1 Java version 1.4.2_08 from Sun Microsystems Inc. But my firewall should allow it to access the internet. I've even turned my firewall off and tried it that way and i still get the same error. |

No need to send any more reports. This is a forum not LW support. If it was we'd all go on strike until we were paid! lol hahaha It seems like some kind of Java issue directly or indirectly I actually forgot to give u the link: Fixes for Limewire & try out the different Java versions. It'll mean you'll need to use the Add/Remove Prog control panel to remove the previous version of Java. |
