java problems

i dled limewire and it says i need to dl a new version of java at www.java.com so i went there dled the installer. supposedly JRE 5.0 when its done i click on it and it loads for 2 sec (im guessing from the hourglass...) and then nothing happens. sooo wat do i do??? thx for the help =)
