Default computer crash

Hi

When I install Lime Wire on my PC it crashes. I've never had a problem with the PC till I installed LW and since then I've had nothing but trouble. If i run the machine without LW its fine but as soon as I install it the fun begins. The program runs fine but when I swith the PC off it wont start. It tells me that this cant be written to memory or that cant be written to memory (sorry I dont no much about PC's) sometimes I get nothing but a blank black screen with a cursor. If I re install windows it runs fine but again when I switch it off I'm back to square 1. Currently I have been running the PC without LW for a few days and it works fine.

Can anyone help, Im running XP service pk2

I'm nearly going back to, dare I say it, Kazaa

Hmmm I think your problem might be your display adapter drivers.
others have had similar problems with that display adapter. They have reduced their resolution from 32 bit to 16 bit color and helped them.

You can check out this link to a post. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...0&pagenumber=2

You can check this link out also they had a different solution. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=4

Best of luck
