i am getting mad

i just downloaded 4.8.1 and it was installed but when i try to start limewire the open screen goes all white and the mouse gets very glitchy. sometimes when its gets by the white screen it asks me what languge and all of the other first time things it needs to know. but will freeze up with mouse glithchy.some one help me fast.

i got the java 1.4.2 and still same problem i uninstalled the new version of java to. what about the video card could that be the problem. i have a 6600GT. give me some feed back.

It depends which brand & model. For some the answer is stepping back your Java to 1.4.2 but others it is stepping back your graphic card driver version.

BTW LW.org has not offered version 4.8.1 for some time meaning you may have got your LW from a scam site. LW Basic is free, but the pro version costs $18.88; see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1
