After i fully install limewire, i go to run it and nuthing comes up

any suggestions?

Go to the LW program folder & see if you can open LW directly. If yes, then it looks like the shortcuts need replacing. If not, try uninstalling Java using the Add/Remove control panel. Then reinstall but 1st downld the Java installer to your comp (don't install over the net!) With any luck this will fix it. A link to Java can be obtained from this link: Fixes for Limewire

i can't log in !!!!!

I am using windows xp limewire 4.10. the icon has changed to a plain windows icon. I no longer have limewire on the computer it has also disappeared along with ALL my music files of about 4 years. I have uninstalled and reinstalled limewire. I don't have the ati adapter and no longer have java on the computer as well. Please advise on how to fix this situation.

My first thought would be a virus... do you run AV scans regularly?
Have you checked to see whether your saved folder is still around (by default it's C:/Documents and Settings/your name/Shared) or used the computer's search to look for some of your music files?

You could try reinstalling Java (use the offline installer)

then reinstall LW using it's offline installer

If things are still screwed I'd suggest going to Norbiesworld & getting him to check out your computer. If you go to his site & register, follow the directions for free computer help & post a Hijackthis log, he'll be able to tell you if you have a virus problem. It's all free.
