Thumbs up Fix for opening Limewire "Fatal Error Message"

I was able to fix Limewire "Fatal Error Message" by:

First, manually download Sun Java JRE 1.4.2 and JRE 1.5 Update 4
at: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

1. Make sure you exit LW first. Then remove all your current Java versions (Java 1.4.2, 1.5 etc...) and Limewire via the Control Panel "Add/remove programs", then reboot.
2. Manually install Java JRE 1.4, reboot.
3. Manually install JRE 1.5 Update 4 and Limewire, reboot.
4. BEFORE OPENING LIMEWIRE, right click on the Limewire desktop icon, go to Properties -> Compatability Tab, change to: Run this program in compatability mode: "Windows 2000"
5. Now, open Limewire and configure as per installation windows.

Worked for me, hope it helps.
