Activating Limewire
 

I have Limewire installed on my computer but when I click on my Icon for it I can't start it up. I've tried everything I can think of and I still can't bring it up. Anybody got a clue?

Thanks for the reply Lord of the Rings but as you say in your reply I am not real computer savvy. When you say operating system search engine, do you mean for me to go to START>SEARCH> .limewire? No results came up when I did that. And when I went to Google, a whole bunch of scenarios came up.
And I haven't gave up completely on your first sets of answers. I have this friend at work who does all this kind of stuff for our company and I thought i might wait and ask him if he could help. Trouble is I don't know for sure when he'll be back around. Thanks again and I'll keep you updated.

Yeah i know what your talking about the same thing is happened to mine and i don't know how to fix it and i tried all the Fixes for Limewire and it still don't work.

ya the same thing hapend to i tryed evrythin the fixes for lime wire also but nothin hapens. And how do you change the compatebility i couldnt find the option.

Limeware trouble
 

This is for Stands with a fist? I think. If you right clik on your Limeware Icon and go to Properties, you can change compatability if you are the Administrator and you are using Windows 2000 or later. But that didn't help me any. I'm going back in tonight and Delete everything that has to do with Limeware and then redo it all agin. Sometimes that does the trick, but only if you get it ALL removed. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Yeah the Windows 2000 didn't work for me either

Limewire Problems
 

Ok, I did what I said. I deleted LW off of my PC and re-installed it and it works great now. I had to go to: Contact Us on the LW page so I wouldn't be recharged for the program. It's called LimeWare Pro 4.8.1.

lol i just needed to reinstal it it works perfectly now thanks.

I use basic and when i tried to reinstall it i didn't get 4.8.1 i got like 4.9.7 or something and it didn't work anyway WTF
