When I try to install LimeWire it says "A older version of limewire is running" when there in fact is not. When I decided to ignore all issues, before it is successfully installed it says "Installation corrupted"..please help me with my problem!

Mine does that too... It seems to run fine just by hitting ignore. I think for some odd reason the installer is thinking that limewire.exe (in task manager) is the actual program when infact it is the installer?

Try re-booting before installing then. If same issue then see whether limewire is existent within the task manager or how many are there. Kill these processes & start over.
