Yesterday Limewire was running fine, until I got a popup message that said "Internal Error". Suddenly Limewire gets minimized into the taskbar and now I can't open it up full-screen again. I've tried uninstalling both Limewire and my Java, then installing them again (twice). But the results are still the same.

Someone please help me!!!

Just to add, I'm using Limewire Pro 4.8 and running Windows XP.

I've read the solutions here already (i.e. changing the compatibility to Windows 2k), but it doesn't work.

Does anyone have any advice?

My other thought would have been to delete the LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed. An internal error for LW 4.8, well that's odd.If deleting prefs doesn't work, then uninstall Java using the add/remove progs control panel. Then install Java 1.4.2 & see if it works then. If still no, then install 1.5 on top of that. But, install Java from your computer not over the net. Sometimes Java gets corrupted when installing over the net. Fixes for Limewire
