This is such an amazing program, it even downloaded Java during the installation process and now when I click on the program as soon as I click "later" in the pop-up window, the program shuts off. This software ought to last another 5 minutes or so on my system. What a joke.

I purposely disable Java as it is the most oft used software to transmit worms, viruses(ii), etc. - so when downloading LimeWire, "the program", not me automatically downloaded a Java program which it obviously requires. I do believe that during the download/installation process the program(LimeWire) clearly stated "downloading" & subsequently "installing" Java. After installation when the program "opened", it stayed opened only long enough for me to choose between "Buy Now", "Why" & "Later" and the clicking of any option automatically "closes" program. Any program requiring Java is an absolute "joke" and yes it already has been removed from my system - the only reason I have this link to reply is that after 13 years of surfing the net, I remember to lock in the last page I visited as a "Favourite" so that I know who to jump on if I find anything with AdAware and 2 other programs I run when I encounter "strange" software. More power to you, if you ever make a real program that doesn't rely on Java, I may revisit your software, but for now - not a chance.

Now you're really pushing your luck as someone whose taxes continue to support the 3rd world nation as Quebec - it's obvious that this piece of garbage must be one of those incredible brilliant discoveries of the French, who since Pascal, Currie, et al in the 19th century have invented the ???????, I'm thinking, ???????, The Maginot Line, nah bad example, the ???????, I know - THE WELFARE STATE. As someone who was programming computers before you were a gleam in your uncle's eye - I'm sure I know what I'm talking about. Adios, adieu, farwell. Enjoy!!

'Nik off' Troll! You made your point. You are no longer using LW then fine. Stop the trolling. Your posts have nothing to do with this topic. But are simply a troll's effort!

Have you ever seen this: Forum Rules (click here) I'd doubt it!

Edit notes: This thread has been split & is ready for the trash where this PegMan character seems to have come from!
