Loss of history I have been using Lime wire for about 10 days, having re-installed it with a view to going Pro. When I started Lime Wire tonight, it went through a new installation procedure and will not share my shared folders. Yesterday I was sharing over 1,000 files quite happily, now I am only sharing the few that I have downloaded tonight. I have lost all the history of incomplete files and my library is now empty. Any idea what happened? |
Problem not covered elsewhere in forum After extensive testing, searching and reading forum streams I have not been able to find a solution. One post did give similar symptoms but the author found that Limewire was duplicated on his machine. I do not have two copies of Limewire. I do have files I am happy to share and they are available to Limewire but it just doesn't seem to recognise them.I have checked that my shared files are not locked behind my firewall - has anybody got any ideas? The version of Limewire is 4.9.11 |
you will then need to re-add your shared folder in limewire. tools > options >sharing |
Thanks Thanks for that. I am now able to share my files. Is there any way to recover my library - or do I have to start again? |
your library is what you share correct? if its not, LW wont find it for you, you have to search on your machine to find it. |
