 Still having trouble... So I had LimeWire on my old computer but recently got a new one. I tried installing and everything went fine until the last window, where you "finish" and run the program. However, nothing comes up: the program never runs. I read all the faq and lots of the forums. I used internet explorer, not AOL, and when i went to uninstall java or whatever, it's not even a program on my computer. What should I do?! Thanks so much!!  |

 If you don't have Java, LW won't work. Download the latest JRE offline installer here http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp Just double check that there's no old Java versions on your comp. If there is, remove it. If there's not then install the JRE. Now reinstall LW & use the offline installer (not the recommended one) http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml |
