7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? house
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? Limewire 4.16.6 and latest Java
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Rogers cable (canada)

I can't seem to download the newest version of Limewire. I've had previous versions for years. I deleted all previous versions as well as all previous versions of Java but when I try to download Limewire, I keep getting this message:
"Cannot copy Limewire: Access Denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use"
I've tried changing the name of Limewire and putting it in a different folder but nothing seems to work.
I know my disk isn't full and the file is not in use...but i can't delete write protected programs.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

just like all the other people ive tryed every suggestion yall have thrown out there. yet still no luck. why not just make a new version to fix the corrupted file?

I still cant get it to work

After downloading both the offline and back up installers i'm still having the same problem.

Installation seems to be going well until I get to the misc options stage. There's no 'next' or 'previous' button so I can't navigate through the installation process.
I've reinstalled several times using different download links provided, including the java download to see if that was the problem.
I'm using Windows XP. Any help?

Hi BTYLS - sorry for the delay in answering yr post -- your problem is caused by the font size -- the installation of Limewire must be done in Normal Font Size and not large -- To choose Font size in Windows XP Home, Right click on an empty part of the desktop --> choose properties --> appearance --> Font size (choose normal)

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.

I tried this and it does not work either. It also says that the file is corrupted and to reinstall limewire again. I have been using limewire for a long time and have had no problems until today. I clicked on my icon for limewire and it said the file is corrupted. Nothing works either of the downloads.someone please HELP!!!

extremly rookie member, I can not install limeware pro and it will not install, it tells me there is an exsisting limeware program running(not true) than if I ignored this and went on the next is an error file corrupt ignored this and then it loads but when I try to run it shows corrupt files while downloading and should re download(done several times no solution) then it directs you to the support link no answers thus I am here in the forum. Help

Hi, I have tried to download lime wire and it keep telling me that the installation is corrupted and to please download and install the limewire again.
I tried to install it numerous times and it kept telling me the same thing.

I tried disabeling the fire wall to see if I can download limewire and still tells me that the istallation is corructed.

I deleted updater to see if I can download the limewire and still no luck.
