My download worked good and every thing went right but when i try and open limewire the hour glass comes up then goes away but limewire dosent open and no messages come up or anything. what is the problem?

Sometimes it's hard to write a perfect post, especially when you're frustrated over your LW not opening.
You know what would help everyone a lot so they can help you? If you could right click on your My Computer and go to properties and write as much info about your system as possible in your next post: Windows version, cpu type and how fast it is, your RAM amount.
Other little things help too, like whether the last time you installed something did you have trouble? When was the last download.
Now other questions: Are you fully protected from viruses and worms etc? Do you update your virus scanner regularly? Do you have a firewall and is it on? Do you scan for adware and malware?
I apologize in advance if you're an old computer pro and know all this already and for asking so many questions. The more everyone knows about your system, the better they can help you.
