Email is not recognized for PRO???
 

I am currently using Limewire PRO 4.8.1. I would like to upgrade to the new version, but my email is not recognized. I purshased limewire on June 20, 2005. Under properties of the downloaded PRO 4.8.1, I have a digital signature and certificate, if you need any of that info. I also have a file under Robofill that was created the same day. The name of the file is license.rfo. I am not sure what it is, it will not execute. I always use my husbands email when ordering online.

Please let me know what my options are. If you need any additional info, please just ask.

If you enter the same email address that was used to send you the confirmation email, it should lookup the pro page where you can download the latest Pro version.

You should have received an email from customer@limewire.com with the Subject: Download Your LimeWire Software Here

It also has a link to your Pro page.

If no such email was sent, you may want to look at the very long thread about people who were scammed into paying someone else other than LimeWire. Some of the people scammed managed to get their money back.

I do not think that I was scammed because, I have used the link once before. I had the PRO upgrade link saved. I got a horrible virus and had to format. My PRO 4.8.1 file was saved on a different drive. I still have it, and am using it. All of my saved email was lost. I can not find the link on any back up disks either. I found that one file, license.rfo but it will not open. I am using PRO right now; I just can not get the upgrade. I know I went to the link page just after I purchased it and it worked. I don't know what to do. :(

Should I continue to use the PRO 4.8.1 or upgrade to the basic new one??? Thanks...
