I installed Limewire through a company called My Music Inc and I went through the installation process I had the problem of waiting too long for java to load so I had to do it manually I got the java 1.4 downloaded to my hard drive off of the link from a posted thread but when I try to open Limewire it still tries to install the java through the program What file should I install the java from my hard drive to so that it activates properly?

* After downlding the Java, you then need to install it. Unzip it if it's zipped & open the installer to install it. The problem is when you get LW from a scam site, you don't know if you're getting the official basic version or a changed version which may also have adware, spyware, etc. Who knows what they might have done to the program. (There's been reported scam versions that have had viruses, spyware, etc.) Only use the official version. Uninstall the version you have via Add/Remove control panel, then downld the "offline" installer from the lw site & install that.
