![]() I install limewire. (My first install of it.) While installing limewire says ["we need to go get java"]. So it jumps around to a couple of places but in the end it leaves me with limewire installed but no JAVA. It is installed but it won't start, saying: "Sorry LimeWire could not locate a suitable Java Runtime environment. Please download and install one from http;//java.sun.com/getjava/download.html" I go there and install JAVA manually. Limewire still won't start saying the above again so... I go to configure java in my WIN XP pro SP2 control panel per the java site instructions "JAVA icon/advanced/applet tag/mozilla netscape support/<Check box>". When I click apply, my win xp says: "WARNING X! Unable to change browzer settings Please check that netscape or mozilla is properly installed on the system and that you have sufficient permission to change settings." Would somebody please help me make this work here... |
