Arrow I keep having issues with Limewire. Please help!

Ok here goes. My problem with limewire is that it keeps becoming unresponsive and is slow to update, like when i click on the search tab it just wont go, its like its frozen. Ive already tried the fix thing. and I'm running Win98SE and limewire 4.9.33. Also It crashes from time to time. I dont know what is going on. Because Limewire used to be so stable on my computer before with no glitches. Can someone please help? Oh another thing, once in a while ill have the screen displayed correctly, but when i minimize and maximiuse it afterwards, sometimes the screen on LimeWire becomes completely grey. no text nothing. I'd still like to be able to use LimeWire. Because I'm a veteran user, been using it since its early days, and id like to not go back. Thanks for such a great app guys.

Lightbulb I SOLVED ALL MY ISSUES

I was able to solve all of my issues by going with the idea from this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=39539 which was to try downgrading your NVIDIA driver. So i did downgrade to version 66.94 and so far no problems to report. Well apparently in the end 66.94 was causing me display problems, but no crashes. So yet again i downgraded. This time to Nvidia Driver Version 61.76 seems to have everythin in working order for now. But LIKE I SAID we shouldnt have to downgrade our video drivers to use applications. We JUST shouldnt have to.
