 i need help! i successfully downloaded and installed limewire 4.9...or w/e. but when i try to open it it says my firewall or sumtin is messin with it and wont let it open can yall give me a link to a website with 4.0..or the one before this new update? cuz i no that one works ive used it b4, or help me fix my update  |

| Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link) If you have another firewall on top of XP firewall, then go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box. If after all of that it does't work try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

| ...hmm is there anything else i can do? cuz i tried to do the network connections thing and went to advanced but it said do this system restore thing, but i dont want to ***** anything up   |
