changing from 4.9.28 to 4.9.33

i want to change from 4.9.28 to 4.9.33 is it easy or is there alot of messing around will i loose what i am downloading or can i leave it running and do the change over and is 4.9.33.better than 4.9.28 any help appreciated thanks inadvance
