Default Uninstalling

So I downloaded Limewire 4.9.37 and downloaded some songs. Then i uninstalled it with the songs still in the limewire library.

I downloaded Limewire 4.9.37 again. When it came up nothing was in my Limewire Library. Does this mean NO ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES can upload my old songs that were in my previous Limewire library?

Also, when you uninstall LW and then install again everything from your old install get erased right? (since nothing from my old installation popped up in my reinstallation?)

Thanks SOOO much in advance.

When you uninstall LW, it ONLY uninstalls what was installed at the time of installation. Thus shared folders, downld folders, preferences, etc. should remain. If your shared folders aren't there, then that's a mystery. It sounds to me like you've installed it into a different location or possibly a different user-account. Or you deleted the LW preferences also. Remember, to uninstall LW, go to the Start menu >Programs>LW>Uninstall. Don't use the Add/Remove control panel. Besides, the newer versions will uninstall the previous version at the beginning of installation so long as that version is later than 4.4 I think it is.

but no one can upload my songs after i've uninstalled it
even if the folders are still on the comp right? (i think i've deleted them too though). i uninstalled it the add/remove programs way.

whats the difference between going to add/remove programs and start>prog>lw>uninstall for versions after 4.4?

Mostly, I'm just worried that even after i've uninstalled lw that people are still uploading my songs.

So i uninstalled it with songs in the LW library. then i uninstalled it (the add/remove programs way) and then when i reinstalled it none of the songs came up in the LIMEwire library. so no one can upload them right?
