i dont know if this problem has been mentioned/solved before. i did try looking but i was unsure.
just downloaded limewire, i try searching but no results come up its just blank.
please please help asap!

How long did you allow Limewire to connect? Once you start LImewire you need to give it time to connect to the network....probably 15 minutes to fully connect would suffice.

What are you searching for? Maybe it cna't find anything.

ive had it connected for ages (bout 2hours)
im looking for the subways - and i know that there are results because i used it round my friends the other day.
the little loading blue thing on the name of the search is full and the limewire logo has stopped spinning so i presumed that it had finished.

Same thing happened to me last re-install. It looked like it was searching when in fact it wasn't. Ended up being a firewall issue. Had to keep poking around both Windows firewall and my routers firewall and set up rules for the proper ports to get it to work. Check out the firewall FAQs.

i have no idea what firewall is. i really cant be bothered with this if its going to take ages and me complicated.
