"The Installation is Corrupted" Error Message
 

Hi, I keep getting the same error message during the Limewire installation process and cannot get past this. I am running Win2KPro and Java 1.5.0_06
Funny thing is Limewire did install right once, but I uninstalled it and now I keep getting the error message when trying to reinstall.

Start from scratch then. Do points #1 & 2 here Fixes for Limewire ie: I must stress using "only" the "Offline" Java installer!!! You may also need to delete the LW 4.20 preferencs via this technique: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...378#post182378 ie: set options for view hidden files "before" doing the search for limewire. After this step then you can move onto the next one. You can change hidden/show options after the search & delete process. ;)

Then downld the "Offline" LW installer. Reinstall which will uninstall the previous version at the start of the installation process. See how it is then. Good luck! :)
