crash on startup
 

HI.

I've used LW for several months and have had few problems with it.

I swapped hard disks yesterday and downloaded LW Pro again. It installed without problems, but can't get it to light up and go.

I have CA's protection suite. I've used LW through the firewall before, but not these last few days.

When I go to start it up, I get a message that says this: It's different from the messages others posted, so....

LIMEWIRE caused a divide error in module <unknown> at 0000:b00bd6c5.

Beware, the CA protection suite includes PestPatrol which does not like p2p programs. You have a choice, disable the program & install others instead, or make LW a safe program list. Other alternatives to PP to use are these very trusty ones: 1. ad-ware (FREE), & also 2. Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE)
