LimeWire Installation Help Needed
 

Hi Folks

I am newly registered here and this is my first post and if anyone could help solve my problem it would really be appreciated.

I am trying to download and install Limewire and I am running Windows XP.

Every time I go to do the full installations and the files start transferring it comes up with:
ERROR OPENING FILE:

C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIS\LOCALS~1\TEMP\jrestub.exe

Then if i try and ignore this it says Installing Java and then does
SWEET F#%$ ALL. I tried installing a Java file the limewire site suggested but it did nothing. Any help would be great.

Install Java 1st! Get the "Offline" Java installer as online installations as you're trying to do are often related to problems. Choose the "Offline" java version from this link: Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

Then download & install the "Offline" LimeWire installer version from http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
