Downloading lime wire from 500 + possible sources means there is a big chance you are downloading currupted files.

I and many more did download from there.
It does not mean you wont get one or more bad uploaders.

This is a somewhat vague thread. But perhaps you might find the Spam filter helpful. If it's not spam you're worried about then perhaps use Bitzi lookup to see if there's any reports on that particular file.

I was going to post a question here, but first let me answer this posting I am on now...:

In the three years i have been using Limewire (currently on Pro version 10.1), I have NEVER EVER downloaded a virus or spam attached to a file.., Why? probably because we are very selective in choosing our titles., plus we have the latest patches and protection from our virus / spam program ( Fsecure)., as well as a top notch firewall.
but most importantly.. This is Limewire the best P2P program on the market. It is as advertised You want virus's ? don't bother using a firewall or virus protection.
I read last week that out of the top five Google searches recorded.. Limewire was number 5 ... !!

now my question:

How can find out what selections have been uploaded from my PC over the course of a day? or a few hours ?

I have my shared folders totalling close to a thousand files.
(classic rock and roll / 50's - 60's / movie soundtracks/ comedy/
and seasonal favourites e.g. Christmas )...

I log back on and find maybe one or two songs being uploaded,at that moment, and nothing else in a history type feature that I used to enjoy to view in previous editions of Limewire..
