I get all the way through the download and the java download etc., but when the installation is almost done (unpacking files) an error message comes up "The installation is corrupted". I have tried both the on-line and off-line downloads. I see that other people are having similar problems, but I have yet to see the solution.
Now, I am not computer-illiterate, but also not computer-smart. I do know I love my lime-wire and dont WANT to have to use another program. If anyone has had this problem and figured it out or could offer a word of advice it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

If the LW program folder is still on your computer, open it & look for the uninstaller. Then uninstall. You should find the folder under C:\\Programs\Limewire

Then download what's called the "Other" version. Then unzip it & use it. No installation necessary. Instructions here: Unzip it & open limewirestub (click on link)

I have Limewire 4.12.6, and every time I've started it up the window is white blank. I've re-started my pc and re-installed it, but nothing happens. what do u think I should do?
