columns resetting My columns keep resetting. I have LW 10. whatever the latest version is. I deleted the .limewire and then re opened LW, put my columns the way I wanted them, and i even closesd/reopened it a few times, they stayed. Well the 1st time I shut down/start up my comp, they reset to some order I don't want them, why do they keep doing that? Anyone know? Thanks |

AFAIK it's always been like that. People have complained about it before. Overall size of the interface will remain after changing, as will any new columns you add. But column dimensions may or may not change back between openings. If you originally had LW 4.9 or earlier, what you could do is start from scratch by deleting both LW prefs if there are 2 sets. Fixes for Limewire I'm wondering if you it may be an issue with having the earlier LW prefs folder. But on the other hand, if I set my chat column to be narrow, it tends to stay that way next time I open LW. |

I'm not talking about the size of the column, I'm talking about the order they're in. I like to have like the quality, then # of ppl that have that file, the file name, bitrate, type and speed in that order. The order is different ever time I open it and it's just annoying. I've already deleted the .limwire folder and done the other fixes. Sometimes they'll stay in order fora week, then outta no where they change and it doesn't matter if I have 1 or 10 downloads going at once. |
