LimeWire.exe Keeps Deleting
 

Hi There,

Hope someone out there can help me with my issue.

I keep installing LimeWire 4.10.3 to my Windows XP environment. Everytime I shutdown Windows and start it up again, the LimeWire.exe launch file automatically deletes itself and I have to re-install LimeWire over again. This happens everytime I log-out of Windows. Is there a way I can configure something to stop this from happening?

Hi Only A Hobo,

I wouldn't rule out that possibility. I didn't realise that LimeWire could be run direct from the installer.

I simply followed the links in www.limewire.com to install the Basic (free) and launched the installer to setup LIMEWIRE BASIC v 4.10.3 in my Windows XP environment.

Have I done something out of the ordinary here?
