firewall and internet connection
 

ok so when i initially open limewire this error message comes up that says i dont have a good internet connection, which i do bc i have cable, and so limewire wont connect. also it says that a firewall is detected, but i went through all the steps to allow limewire through the firewall. so there shouldnt be a problem bc limewire has worked in the past, just these past two days it hasnt worked. any suggestions?

Check the 1st Sticky listing at the top of this section. Check your modem/router to see whether it needs UPnP or port forwarding. Which cable company do you go thru? I ask because some shape or block p2p use, also depending on your location.
