![]() Hi everyone, I've looked around but couldn't find an answer, so here is my question... I got passed the java jre file problem, but shortly after in the installation it has a status bar that has these words above it: 'Download Java Runtime Environment.7z' and it just stops there. I've tried unistalling, using offline installers, installing java first, and nothing I do will work. I have Norton 2005, with the firewall on, and I can't get it to turn off. Also, I'm trying to install version 4.10.5, I'm using Windows XP home (with sp2) on a new powerspec computer. I can't think of much else, but any help would be greatly appreciated! |

![]() For configuring your firewall & modem/router, see Connection problems? Check here first! So are you saying you get a message about Java when you try to open LW or the installer? Yes, normally installling Java 1st should overcome this. It might be wise to uninstall Java using the add/remove programs control panel, & install Java again using the "Offline" installer. You did get this one didn't you? -> Java 1.5 (take the JRE) or alternatively, you can get it from here http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp |
