Hello I'm new here.

Okay, I've been trying for over 2 hours to download limewire 4.10
onto my windows xp system.

There is a installation error that keeps popping up and it says

Error for writing:

c:/programfiles/GenericWindowsUtls.dll

Limewire.exe

Limewire20.dll

Try downloading it using the offline installer. You'll find a link here

If need be, you can uninstall your Java & then reinstall that using it's offline installer, too. I'm not sure if you'll need to do that, though

I really like the fact that you can find almost anything on limewire, I would really appreciate it if someone would help me.

Did you uninstall Java & reinstall that? Otherwise, have a look at LOTR's advice about downloading the "other" version

Nothing is working! I already have java installed and the error is still popping up.

Well this was a waste of my time, next time you guys plan to update, try not to update with a file that has tons of errors.
