![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, The following happened: I installed limewire yesterday.During installation it said it had to overrun an older version. Some couldn't be overrun so I pressed "ignore".Then it was installed. I immediately uninstalled because I didn't like the program. When I did that it looked ok to me. Straight after doing it a pop-up screen comes saying "ONE OR MORE NECESARRY FILES APPEAR TO BE INVALID......CAUSED BY CORRUPTED INSTALLATION" I was supposed to "copy&paste" that message but that seems inpossible. My computer is running slow as well and this pop-up screen still keeps coming up. It also says in the same screen install it again and then uninstall but still the problem occurs. What next?Solution?I want to get rid of all limewire residu! Regards Martyn van der Voort |

![]() That's what caused it but I think I've managed. For now it doesn't pop up anymore and I removed every limewire file through Registry Editor&Task manager.Pray it doesn't come back cos it is a bloody nuisance.I'll stay away from any Limewire software in the future! |
