when i try to uninstall it it just comes up with an error im not using lime wire and im not dling anything atm im only using msn + windows media player for music.. the error is uninstall.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close sorry for the inconvenience.. any help is apreciated

Don't uninstall limewire using the add/remove programs section. Uninstall LW by going to C:\Program Files\Limewire\Uninstall. This should uninstall it completely.

Just curious why your uninstalling it? If it's because of a virus, deleting LW won't remove It.

i need to uninstall it to get the newer version to install because when i try installing the new version it also trys to remove it and encounters the same error and just closes itself so yea.. anyways thanks for the help ill let you know how it goes
