My Limewire loads then disappears!

Well lately my computer is driving me insane. I go to load my Limewire Pro 4.12.4 then it shows the window for a brief second before disappearing from my Processes. It all started when I was downloading a song then Limewire suddenly switched off for no reason and it's been happening ever since.
I've tried reinstalling Java and Limewire and deleting the preferences but it still isn't working.
As well as that my System Restore isn't working and I keep getting an error that Flash 9 has performed an illegal operation every two minutes in Firefox and freezes.
AND when I try to save a file to my documents using Save As the window just disappears just like when I try to select it to Save my downloads in in Limewire.
I used a Registry Fixer and fixed over 900 errors but it still isn't working.
I do have a firewall and my Anti Virus and Spyware is up to date.
PLEASE HELP!! :(

Sounds bad. Maybe you have an infection that has disabled your antivirus.
Try this one as an emergency backup: AVG Free Edition

Let's see, what else could it be… Oh yeah, your hardware might be acting up.
Try going into BIOS setup and reducing your speed, then scan for viruses
again to test it.

Another possibility is a disk error that hasn't been detected yet. That could
account for the problem with the Save As window, because it tries to build up
a tree of your folders as it opens up and an error in the structure can cause
parts of the OS to freeze up. Try scanning your hard disks for errors. If you
are using Windows, booting up in Safe Mode could be more reliable, though a bit
slower.

I'm running AVG AntiVirus and it didn't work.

When I run a full system scan with AVG it doesn't pick up anything but if I try to scan My Downloads and Incomplete seperately it seems to crash. And if I try to go into My Documents to even attempt to delete the folders my computer crashes.
