Yes, that is the exact message I get.

My anti-virus software is Win, but I guess that doesn't really matter after what you've said.

I've downloaded LW in the past wiht the Win FW, and had no problems.

I am logged in as an administrator.

Try to see if there is an update for your Windows installer.

I am guessing that you looked at the above post for Auggie and tried a clean install, so the only other thing I can think of is to try online malware scans to see if they find anything your AntiVirus doesn't. Many in first section of this thread:

Then go through your installed programs and uninstall anything that you might have installed after the last time you installed Limewire, Reboot and then run the registry cleaner and once again reboot. (You can always install these again after you got Limewire installed properly.)

Then after downloading the offline installer for Limewire, disconnect from the internet and turn all protecting software (Firewall, Antivirus/spywareprograms, Peerguardian) and any other programs that might be running in the background, before installing Limewire.

If that doesn't work either then nothing I can think of will. I'm all tapped out for anymore ideas on how to fix this issue.
