Exclamation Downloads drop to 0KB after 3 minutes

This is driving me mad!
According to limewire I have a turbo charged connection. Downloads seem to take about 3 minutes to kick in. Once downloads have begun, I can count to KB down to zero within another 3 minutes.
Limewire continues to add sources and even start other downloads ( without any transfer rate showing )
I can see pretty good KB coming from uploads, but nothing coming down for me!
No problems with my firewall, loads of H/D space, allowed and disallowed ultra peers

Any one have any ideas?

Is your ISP Pipex? If yes, see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...7&postcount=38

You could try a connecting port between 49152 - 65535 such as 64049. ie: go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls
But this still might not help. It's one thing to try. Other than that perhaps proxies.

On the menu bar you will see Tools. Click on it. Here's an image sample: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...010#post120010 or click on the windows sample on that page. You can also change listening port to the same.

Router configuration, forward whichever port you change to connect to also just in case.
