![]() I have successfully downloaded LW, it loaded and connected just fine. However, when I enter into a search for files, it searches but reveals nothing, this goes for all files. I have checked my firewalls and all is fine there. The only thing I can think of is that the Internet connection I use is causing this. I get free dial up from my college. Does anyone have any suggestions?... ![]() |

![]() Yes, your college is probably "Bandwidth Shaping" that is it has installed anti-P2P equipment to curb use of it’s internet bandwidth. If you search through this forum you will find that many students, like yourself, up and down the US have just found out that their colleges have all implemented an anti-P2P policy. I bet your next question will be: Is there any way around this? Only if you are technically savvy, if not then talk to a friendly IT admin person who may (or may not) open a port for you to use.
