Transfering to Windows Media Player? (URGENT HELP NEEDED FAST)
 

How do I transfer the files I download from Limewire to Windows Media Player?:confused:

The one thing that gets on the nerves of members of this forum is impatience, in which you have just shown by posting the I'm waiting icon 1 minute after you posted your question and then you started a new thread, which we call double posting....:nono:

I was just impatient and stupid

Once you have found your shared folder (outside of limewire), you can just drag and drop the songs into your WMP playlist.....:rolleyes_2:

i have checked to use limewire player but nothing is playing. when i uncheck it then it opens my media player. before a computer crash it worked just fine.

Try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's closed. See points 2 & 3 below for instructions
Fixes for LimeWire

Doing this will kill all of your options settings, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards. See if the LW player works after that:wink:

oh, just skip the dastardly LW player, it has always sucked...WMP works just fine for me (though if you have a firewall it would be prudent to block said WMP from in any way accessing the net...do you really want ol' Billy Bob Gates to know what you are listening to?)
